Tajin Palappa

Tajin Palappa is a culinary that has been served as a breakfast and considered as a must have breakfast menu for Situbondo’s citizen. In Maduranese, tajin means porridge, and palappa means flavor, so it can be translated as flavored porridge. As it name suggests, tajin palappa is porridge served with flavor such as peanut souce and it also can add black shrimp paste. Nasi sodu

Nase’ Sodu is rice with gour coconut milk curry, string bean and sometimes carrot. It usually served with red-spiced tuna and fermented shrimp paste chilli sauce (sambal terasi) to make a balance of its sweet taste. The name Sodu originated from Maduranese word for folded banana leaf that is used as a replacement for spoon. If you want to taste Nase’ Sodu, you can find it in Jl.
